CAVE TOURISM

Papanikoli Cave: This is the largest sea cave in the world with rich natural beauty. The name of the cave comes from the Papanikolis submarine which during the Greco-Italian War (1940-41) had its secret base in this particular cave.

Cave of the Cyclops: near Kalopoulos Cove is this specific cave which is considered as one of the possible locations where the Cyclops Polyphemus lived, according to mythology.
