Beaches

Palos

Palos: quiet beach with pebbles, crystal clear waters. It is in the west of the island and access is on foot.

Gaidouravlakos

Gaidouravlakos: a small beach with turquoise waters and perhaps the most beautiful on the island. Access is difficult through a path that starts from the beach of Spilia.

Spilia

Spilia: one of the most beautiful beaches of the island with sand, fine pebbles, natural shade and turquoise waters. Access to the beach is easy.

Tsangari

Tsangari: beach with pebbles and crystal-clear waters. It is located very close to Megalo Chorio and is accessible via a path.

Agios Georgios

Agios Georgios: the beach located in the homonymous settlement. It has fine pebbles and clear blue waters.

Vathi Pigadi

Vathi Pigadi: Located in the southeast of the island. It has pebbles and enchanting turquoise waters. Access to the beach is via dirt road but also by sea boat.

Poros

Poros: small beach with shallow waters and sandy beach. It is located in the southeast of Agathonisi and the access is through a dirt road.

Agios Georgios

Agios Georgios: The main port of the island. Here are the accommodations and taverns of the remote island. During the summer months, the settlement is full of life.

Megalo Chorio

Megalo Chorio: The largest and oldest settlement of the island on the mountain slope. Megalo Chorio has an architectural feature, a stone wall around the houses with large doors.Around the settlement there are small coves and beautiful beaches. The visitor is worth walking in the paved square of the village, to see the mosaic depicting Agathonisi and its rocky islets and to take a walk from the chapels of Zoodochos Pigi, Agios Ioannis the Theologian and Agios Raphael.

Mikro Chorio

Mikro Chorio: A small settlement built opposite Megalo Chorio. Very close to the village is the chapel of Agios Panteleimon.
